My name is Marlene Underhill. Along with my husband Winsor Underhill we are the owners of Kinderland Daycare.
I am a Foot Care Nurse and a retired LPN, as well as being the Director of Kinderland.

My name is Shonna Sturgeon. I am happily married and a mother of 2 beautiful girls. I began working at Kinderland in April 2008. Since that time, I have received my Early Childhood Education, graduating with honors from ABC in June 2010, completed the New Brunswick Early Learning and Child Care Curriculum, and attended many hours of workshops and courses to further my training in this field. I love working in all age groups because I enjoy watching as they grow and develop in a safe and inviting environment while having fun. When I am not at work, I love hunting, four wheeling, sports activities with our children and spending quality time with my family.
Amanda Cronk
Pre School
My name is Amanda Cronk I grew up in the small village of Aroostook, NB. I have been in Fredericton for over 10 years and have had the pleasure of raising my own three children in this beautiful city. Coming from a close knit small town I know the importance a community plays in raising children. I genuinely feel that Kinderland supports their families and provides them with a loving, nurturing community of like minded educators for their little ones.
I am the 4 Year Old Educator at Kinderland. It is such a privilege for me to be able to form bonds and help guide the children through this next step of their educational journey. Our afternoons are always full of outside adventure, educational play, glitter and glue.
Trista Riley
Pre School
My name is Trista Riley. I first started Kinderland in the summer of 2020. I returned to join the team in June 2021 and am currently enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program at NBCC, which I will graduate in June 2022.
I first found my love for children as a junior coach at the church I attend. I have helped out with children’s ministry for a number of years. From there I volunteered at the YMCA during the summer with the summer camp programs. It was during this time that the leaders encouraged me to pursue this as a career as they saw my passion to provide care and understanding towards children.
I look forward to watching your children grow and develop. Each child that I have the priviledge to teach holds a special spot in my heart and I am thankful that I get to be a little part of each family.
Jasmine Buyting
Infant Centre
My name is Jasmine Buyting. I joined the Kinderland family in September 2022. I grew up in Woodstock, New Brunswick and made the move to Fredericton in 2020. I’m happily married to my amazing husband, Isaiah Buyting, and we share our home with our adorable dog, Dallas.
The best part of my job is building meaningful connections with the children and their families. I love getting to know each little one and it’s a joy to create a caring, supportive environment where they can grow.
A little bit about me, I love going for walks, traveling, and being active in my church community. Summer is my favourite season, pink is my favourite colour, and I try to bring warmth and positivity into everything I do. I believe that what we learn with joy, we never forget.
